Interior Minister of Kuwait Pays Visit to QIBS 2015!

Doha 13 November 2015 – The Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, Sheikh Mohammed Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, paid a surprise visit to the third edition of the Qatar International Boat Show (QIBS) on Tuesday 12th November.Interior Minister of Kuwait Pays Visit to QIBS 2015! Kuwait is being represented at QIBS this year by three of the country’s companies – Gulf Master Boats, Sea Line Group and Seas & Deserts.

The Sea Line Group for Marine Contracting provides special maritime solutions, including consultancy, system design, equipment procurement, installation and maintenance. The company also offers communications systems, marine electronics, navigation systems and seabed scanning. Faysal Mikati, the founder and CEO of Snow Comms Conceptual Communications & Events, which is responsible for staging the show, said that QIBS was honoured to receive Sheikh Mohammed Al-Khaled and was delighted in the confidence that he had shown in making his visit.

QIBS 2015 is being held from November 10th to the 14th, with the opening times being extended by two hours from 12.30pm to 9.30pm on the Friday and Saturday.

This edition has been dedicated to the memory of Essa Al Mannai, the conceptualiser and Chairman of the Qatar International Boat Show, who passed away just over a week ago. It was Essa’s vision of Qatar staging its very own boat show, together with his determination, that led to the staging of the first edition of QIBS in 2013.
